Help to find work

The Centre supports people of all ages who have been looking for work for more than six months. We help you find work.

You are at the centre

We start with your individual situation and find out what your skills and strengths are. Together, we look at what is holding you back, build your confidence, and work on new skills that you need in life and work.

We find out what sort of work you want to do, and then look at what we need to do to get you there. You train the skills you need in the workplace, like working with computers, problem solving, or collaboration. You learn how to network, apply for jobs, and do interviews.

A Learning Engagement & Employment Officer supports you the whole way.

Finding and creating opportunities

The Centre works with employers in the region to understand the workers they need, and match them to people who are looking for work. We organize workplace visits and prepare job seekers for the job. Once an employee starts work, we stay involved to make sure it is a success for the employer and the employee.
