Ability Me is specifically designed for learners with a permanent cognitive or intellectual impairment to find success and purpose that will help gain the confidence and skills to succeed.

Content

Build your confidence and independence, and prepare for work or further training by:

  • Finding out what you are good at
  • Practicing communication skills
  • Developing life skills, such as budgeting, traveling, and cooking
  • Preparing for the workplace by learning about teamwork, problem solving, planning and organising
  • Excursions in the community, including workplace experience and visits
  • Getting help in reading job announcements, writing application, and going to interviews

• Evidence of permanent cognitive impairment / intellectual disability
• Working with Children Check

The course is fully funded.
