About the Role

The Centre has a learner-focused approach that allows our learners to bring their own experiences forward, understand the real-world applications of the knowledge and skills they are gaining and continue to build their confidence to pursue a career or further education.

We are looking for inspiring trainers in Wangaratta, Benalla and Shepparton for the following qualifications:

  • ‘Getting There’ – Certificate I and II in General Education for Adults
  • ‘Ability Me’ – Certificate I in Work Education and Transition Education

Qualifications and Licences

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma or higher-level qualification in Adult Education or Secondary Education.
  • Qualifications at or above the level of the course being delivered
  • Current employee Victorian Working with Children Check Card (WWCC)
  • Satisfactory National Police Records Check

    1. Demonstrated experience delivering vocational literacy and numeracy programs to learners, using appropriate methods and meeting compliance requirements for recording and reporting assessment outcomes.
    2. Ability to work confidently and conscientiously while unsupervised, off-site and in different delivery areas to provide high-quality education and training programs to learners.
    3. Experience in developing and accessing activities that incorporate techniques to engage learners who may be disengaged to achieve positive outcomes.
