| About Us
The Centre is a community-owned, not-for-profit Community College, established in 1962, operating a unique blend of community-building programs, learner engagement support and education programs for people with low educational attainment and multiple challenges throughout the huge region. The Role As a Non-Executive Board Director, you will play a vital role in shaping our strategic direction, ensuring good governance, and championing our values. This is a voluntary position, ideal for someone who wants to give back to the community and contribute their expertise to a meaningful cause. The Board hold 11 board meetings a year, held from 3 pm until 5 pm on a weekday. It is expected that a Board Director has time to commit to attending meetings and time to represent the Board at some of The Centre’s events. Candidates with the following experience are preferred:
