Sue Geals, CEO of The Centre for Continuing Education

Sue Geals says:

This year, The Centre celebrates its 60th anniversary as the place where people grow their abilities and communities create new opportunities. It is a heritage to cherish, and a solid foundation on which I want to build The Centre’s ability to grow people’s confidence, improve their skills, and get them into rewarding work.

For the past 8 years, Sue worked as the Chief Executive Officer at Community College Gippsland. She is also the current Chair of Adult Community Education Victoria (ACEVic), the peak body of 240 not-for-profit community organisations across Victoria that deliver low-cost or free learn local courses.

Carol Nolan, Chair of the Board, says:

Sue brings a wealth of experience in adult education that will help The Centre to remain a leading adult education provider in the region, as well as the leadership qualities to grow its programs and courses in consultation with our communities.

Ms. Geals is taking over from Felicity Williams, who was appointed CEO of Upper Murray Family Care in May.
