This nationally recognised unit equips educators, childcare workers, and support staff with the essential skills and knowledge to respond effectively to first aid situations in education and care environments. HLTAID012 meets the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) guidelines.

Course Duration & Delivery

In Person Duration: 6 hours per day for 2 days (including practical assessment)

Blended online delivery: 6 hours of online learning and 1 day of face to face training (including practical assessment)

Delivery Mode: Face-to-face or blended online learning with hands-on practice in both delivery modes

Assessment: Theory and practical demonstrations
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for HLTAID012, valid for 3 years (CPR component requires annual renewal).
