What is Free TAFE?

From 1 January 2019, Free TAFE for Priority Courses covers only tuition fees for students who are eligible for government-subsidised training and not materials and amenities which could be additional.

Free TAFE eligibility

If you’re an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen, you are eligible if you meet these criteria:

  • You are under 20 (regardless of any other qualifications), or
  • You are 20 or older and enrolling in a course that is a higher qualification than you’ve previously attained.

Free TAFE Priority Courses provided by The Centre in 2019.

We offer the following Vocational Training TAFE Priority Courses in a variety of locations for only $400 no more to pay (no additional materials and amenities charges) or $80 concession for students who are eligible for government-subsidised training.  The same eligibility as above.

No hidden costs, just one easy flat fee.

$400, no more to pay or $80 concession to eligible Skills First Funded applicants.
