Gaining the Edge prepares and helps learners to access and complete Free TAFE courses, which are provided by the Victorian Government for skill shortage areas. This is because many students who enrol at TAFE do not have sufficient skills to complete their course.
Gaining the Edge is flexible. Modules can be taken at the same time, or one after the other based on student need. The modules cover:
- Digital literacy
- Resilience
- Prepare for placement & employability skills
- Learning to learn.
