The Annual General Meeting was well attended with over 30 people present on the evening.

Janelle Boynton was our Guest Speaker and you can view her speech on our You Tube Channel along with other highlights from the meeting.

This is the first time we have recorded our AGM and not without a few glitches. We plan to record more events and hope you enjoy them.

Women In Sport Leadership Program

‘Learn Support Lead: Activating female leaders in sport’ is a 12 month female mentoring and leadership program designed to activate the untapped skills and experience of local women on and off the field.

The program includes two cohorts of women – emerging leaders, and established leaders who will act as mentors. The program will guide participants through a series of workshops to build confidence, understanding and networks, ultimately allowing them to unlock and realise their leadership potential as players, coaches, administrators or committee members and in other roles within their club. The program will benefit the individuals participating, their sporting clubs and the community

We are looking for participants from a variety of sporting codes and experiences. Expressions of interest close on 01 June 2017, and successful participants will be contacted by 29 June 2017. If you are interested in participating or being involved in some capacity, please email sportnortheast@thecentre.vic.edu.au or call 03 5721 0252.
