HLT23215 Certificate II in Health Support Services

Australia’s healthcare industry is a growing sector with more than 50,000 non-clinical jobs expected to open in the next five years. There are good opportunities now in regional centres across our region, including Shepparton and Wodonga.

Get your foot in the door for a career in the health sector with this entry-level course. Develop the basic skills to work within a variety of health environments in assistance or support roles.

You are guided every step by our experienced trainers, in small classes, ensuring you are fully supported to successfully achieve your qualification.

Successful completion of this course will qualify you to work in an assistance role in a health care facility, for example:

  • ward assistant or general hand
  • orderly
  • food services assistant
  • cleaner or laundry services worker
  • business services roles such as receptionist
  • outdoors as a gardener or maintenance worker

This course is ideal to step into further study and higher qualifications such as personal care worker in aged care or disability, or in a trades qualification including gardening and horticulture, maintenance, hospitality, or business administration.

This training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government Funding. Individuals with a disability are encouraged to access government subsidised training.
