First Aid

The Centre delivers the three main First Aid courses including Provide CPR, Provide Basic Emergency Life Support, and Provide First Aid. Whether it’s for workplace needs or part of a qualification The Centre delivers First Aid in Wangaratta, Benalla and offsite private group bookings are available for organisations within North East Victoria.

HLTAID003 Provide first aid

Update First Aid every 3 years.

This course includes HLTAID001 & HTLAID002

Participants to gain a qualification to assist in covering workplace and industry requirements relating around all first aid and medical emergencies e.g. CPR, minor wounds, managing fractures strains and sprains, burns, poison bites and stings. First Aid courses are regularly reviewed by the ARC to ensure first aiders are trained in the latest first aid techniques. As a result, all CPR courses need to be updated annually and first aid courses need to be updated every three years to ensure you stay current.

HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Update CPR yearly

Participants to learn the necessary skills to provide CPR, managing casualties and administering first aid for unconscious breathing and non-breathing casualties.

HLTAID002 Provide basic emergency life support

Participants learn the skills to administer CPR, first aid for minor wounds, other medical emergencies e.g. asthma, anaphylaxis and shock.

22300VIC – Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis

Update yearly for schools

This course is for anyone needing to gain the skills or update their skills in the treatment of a casualty suffering from an anaphylactic episode and the first aid techniques and principals needed to manage such an episode.
