1080 Pest Animal Bait Control

NRT 22275VIC Course in Minimising Risks in the Use of 1080 Pest Animal Bait Products for Vertebrate Pest Control

This course is designed to enable participants to understand the requirements for purchasing and using 1080 pest animal bait products. It focuses on identifying and managing the risks associated with the use of 1080 pest animal bait products and participants will gain knowledge in how to use the bait in a manner which is both safe for themselves and the environment.

Chemical Refresher Course

Industry recommend a refresher course to be undertaken after 5 years of completing the original course to maintain currency with legislation, label and personal equipment changes as well as to satisfy duty of care requirements under the OHS ACT 2004.

This is a NON accredited refresher course

Chemical Users Course

This course is the industry standard for training in chemical use, storage and handling. This course provides the required training for many Industry Quality Assurance Programs and is necessary to apply for the Victorian Agricultural Chemical Users Permit (ACUP).

First Aid

NRT HLTAID003 Provide first aid

Develop the knowledge and confidence to assist in medical emergencies with this module of the HLT National Training Package. It is particularly useful for those who want to qualify as a workplace first aid officer or as part of another training package or certificate course. Participants will receive a Statement of Attainment and will be issued with a card following assessment.

Update yearly

Develop the skills to make a real difference in someone’s life. This nationally-recognised CPR program will teach you the current techniques and methods which are required for those holding a first aid qualification.

The knowledge you develop in this course can be applied across a range of industries including the health, education, business and tourism sectors.

An annual CPR update is required for those holding a current first aid qualification.

NRTSITXFSA001 Use hygienic practices for food safety

This Nationally Accredited course is appropriate for all food handlers within the hospitality and retail industries, and can be any person who either directly or indirectly handles food such as kitchen staff, bar and food and beverage attendants, customer service attendants and front of house personnel. It is also appropriate for anyone handling food at a public venue.  It provides food handlers with the skills and knowledge required to keep food safe in the workplace and includes hands on food preparation in a simulated commercial kitchen environment.

This Worksafe Approved forklift course is the industry standard to gain your Forklift Licence.

Participants must provide photo ID, be 18 years and over (no driver’s licence necessary).

This course is designed for those who have not had experience in driving a forklift truck. This course is delivered over 3 days by The Centre - WorkSafe Approved Trainer and Assessor. Upon successful completion of this program, participants are issued with the forms required to obtain their operator’s licence from WorkSafe Victoria.


VCGLR Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

Undertaking this approved VCGLR Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) program gives participants the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute to a safe, enjoyable environment in a licensed premises.

Face-to-face RSA training is mandatory for licensees and staff selling, offering or serving liquor for general, on-premises, late night and packaged liquor licences.

We run RSA courses every month in Wangaratta. If you have a group of 10 or more, we can run an RSA at your business.
