This entry-level course is designed to kick start your career in becoming a civil construction worker or labourer. Every time you go anywhere by road, rail, plane or boat, you will use infrastructure built by the civil construction industry.

What is civil construction?

The civil construction industry is made up of companies, individuals, and resources involved in planning, designing, and constructing Australia’s civil infrastructure.

What you will learn:

While undertaking this course you will learn hands-on construction techniques, entry-level skills and the knowledge you need to work in the civil construction industry. These skills will help you secure an apprenticeship in the construction industry.

Learners will gain the skills and knowledge required to work safely and competently across a range of work tasks that are carried out regularly within civil construction.

White Card

CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry

A White Card is a compulsory part of every course.  It is a mandatory requirement for all persons wishing to carry out construction type work anywhere in Australia. This training will be included in the course and will be issued on a separate Statement of Attainment, with a card for your wallet once competency is achieved. CPCCWHS1001 derived from Certificate III in Civil Construction (RII30915), training and assessment is conducted by Wodonga TAFE – RTO: 3097
