About the Board of Governance
We are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified individuals to join the Board of Governance who will support the achievement of our vision and guide The Centre to achieve and fulfill its exciting future. Skills in business management, strategic planning, risk management, marketing, human resources, advocacy would be highly valued.
The Board hold 11 board meetings a year, it is expected that a Board Director have time to commit to attending every meeting and time to represent the Board at The Centre’s events.
Candidates will the following experience are preferred:
- Experience working with or on committees or Boards.
- Experience and knowledge in Governance, Finance, Audit, Risk Management, Legal, Community or Training and Education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills that include the ability to provide open and honest feedback in a respectful manner.
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality within legal constraints around this.
