Liquor Licensing Seminars for Clubs
CARN recently held Liquor Licensing Seminars in the Alpine and Wangaratta Shire. The Seminars were well represented by Clubs keen to gain that extra knowledge of their legal responsibilities. The topics covered were; understanding your Liquor Licence; club rules; duty of care/server liability; underage issues; intoxication; ‘signing in’ requirements and non member functions/limited licences. The representatives of the clubs present involved themselves with questions and gained the confidence and knowledge of the issues relating to their Liquor Licence.
