Film on ice impact to help community

A LOCAL movie about the impact of the drug ice looks set to be viewed by a far wider audience.

This follows the screening on Friday of “Slope” at the Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre, this time to approximately 50 local stakeholders, community partners and Department of Justice and Regulation organised by the Wangaratta Ice Steering Committee.

The film – produced by The Centre in Wangaratta using local filmmakers Killer Pig Productions with input from VCAL students – was used to spark discussion among the stakeholders about the film, how it could be utilised further and to what audiences and for attendees to provide input into the current Wangaratta Ice Action Plan.
