This qualification provides a general vocational outcome in agriculture.  You will learn farming basics and agriculture essentials including:

  • How to use farm chemicals and baits safely
  • How to use and maintain farm machinery
  • Forklift
  • Fencing essentials
  • Dealing with livestock
  • OHS
  • Managing sustainability

Job roles vary across different industry sectors and may include:

  • Farm or station hand
  • Farm or station worker

    – Classes will be held on Thursdays and Fridays, 8.30am til 4.30pm.  Transport to the farm from Wangaratta and lunch is included.
