  • Would you like to work in a rewarding and in-demand industry?
  • Are you passionate about providing quality care to our aging population?
  • Can you see yourself having a CAREER in aged care?

The Federal Government has committed $1.6b to provide about 14,000 additional high-level home care packages, enabling people to live in their own home for longer. This means more Home Care workers will be required to support these additional packages.

Our successful partnership with local aged care facilities has seen learners study CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community Care) on site and then train in the facility the very next day putting everything learnt into practice.

This course is the first step to gaining a career in the fastest growing industry in AustraliaThe strength of this program is reinforced when students complete the qualification as their workplace training has been tailored to each facilities requirements, making them ideal candidates for work. Learners are already familiar with how the facility runs, the policies and procedures, and the residents. They are also trained specifically to the facility’s standards.

All students were hired from the first classes which demonstrates how effective this program was at training suitable employees, not only for Cooinda and Beechworth Health Services but other Aged Care facilities in the region.
