Trainer / Assessor – Hospitality, delivering in Wallan, Broadford, Kilmore

Due to growth of new opportunities, The Centre is seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced trainer / assessors to deliver a range of Hospitality courses in the Mitchell shire.

You will have qualifications and experience to deliver a range of hospitality courses including:

  • VCGLR Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • SITXFSA001 Use hygienic practices for food safety
  • Introduction to Espresso Coffee
  • Traineeships for SIT30616 Certificate III in Hospitality
  • Kickstart Hospitality – a broad hospitality which includes, coffee, RSA, Customer Service and introduction to kitchen operations.

You need to be able to demonstrate effective communication skills, strong personal organisational and time management skills, and be highly motivated, positive and able to engage with learners from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels. We are keen to talk to you if you have a consistent and enthusiastic approach to delivering and assessing training.

Must have TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Hospitality qualifications to a level III and registered with VCGLR to delver RSA.

Learner Engagement Officer (Case Management)

The Centre is a Community College empowering individuals and communities through participation, education and training.  Our vision is to build vibrant communities that value learning.

Our Learner Engagement Team engages with Learners, local agencies, services and businesses building pathways and opportunities for disengaged youth and vulnerable members of our communities to engage in positive learning environments that build skills, capability and resilience.

As our Learner Engagement Officer your experience and skills in client centred case management will support individuals experiencing multiple and complex challenges to achieve their goals and aspirations through our Reconnect program.

Your “can-do” approach to life will fit perfectly into our dynamic team making a real difference to individuals, families and communities throughout our region.

Based in Wangaratta with outreach to Wangaratta, Benalla and Moira Shires.

Trainer / Assessor – CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability

The Centre is seeking a qualified trainer and assessor on Mondays and Tuesdays with an immediate start to deliver selected units from CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability.

You must hold relevant vocational experience and qualifications,
and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

You need to be able to demonstrate effective communication skills, strong personal organisational and time management skills, and be highly motivated, positive and able to engage with learners from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels. Learner Engagement Teachers (Trainer and Assessors) for our innovative  ‘Getting There’ program.

Experience in delivering employment related programs is essential.

The Centre delivers life changing employability programs to learners with significant barriers to accessing education and employment in North East Victoria and down the Hume corridor to Wallan.

As a Teacher of these programs you will make a direct impact to rebuild these learners’ lives and help them gain employment.  You will be assisted by our Learner Engagement Team to ensure each learner gets the support they need to achieve their goals.  You will have experience in delivering employment related programs and provide these learners with the tools they need to gain meaningful employment.

Your ability to deliver relevant and relatable employment programs underpinned with Literacy and Numeracy skills and your creative flexible approach to learning, being able to create interesting activities out of current issues or events will give you the flexibility to tailor this course to your learner’s interests.

If you are passionate about helping disadvantaged adults
achieve their goals then we want to hear from you.

You will need to be a qualified teacher (trainer and assessor) in order to deliver selected units from 22236VIC Certificate I in General Education for Adults and 22237VIC Certificate II in General Education for Adults.  You also must hold Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and relevant Literacy and Numeracy experience in adult education.

You need to be able to demonstrate effective communication skills, strong personal organisational and time management skills, and be highly motivated, positive and able to engage with learners from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels. We are keen to talk to you if you have a consistent and enthusiastic approach to delivering and assessing training.

We need teachers to deliver in these locations: Wangaratta, Seymour, Wallan, Broadford, Euroa and Benalla

Disability, Learning and Support Teacher

The Centre delivers a range of programs that empower adults living with a disability to gain independence, find work and lead a meaningful life.

As a Teacher of these programs you will directly help shape your learners future and see them take control over their own lives, whether that is to move into assisted living, to be more independent, volunteer in the community, finish school or find work.

You will be teaching adults with a range of abilities and your contribution will give them the skills, confidence, knowledge and experience to help them achieve their goals.

You will be delivering selected units from the following qualifications:

  • 22301VIC Certificate I in Transition Education
  • 22302VIC Certificate I in Work Education
  • Plus some Pre Accredited training

You must hold teaching qualifications, relevant vocational experience and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

You need to be able to demonstrate effective communication skills, strong personal organisational and time management skills, and be highly motivated, positive and able to engage with learners from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels. We are keen to talk to you if you have a consistent and enthusiastic approach to teaching and supporting engaging activities for people with an intellectual disability.
