Literacy and Numeracy Trainers

We are looking for a number of passionate, enthusiastic and vibrant Educators to help our learners to build their aspirations and achieve their goals. These learners include people with significant barriers to accessing education and employment.

Our courses are achieving outstanding success in helping people to gain self-awareness, rebuild their lives and achieve employment.

We are seeking qualified trainers and assessors to work on a sessional, part-time basis, with an immediate start to deliver selected units from 22237VIC Certificate II in General Education for Adults. You must hold Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and relevant Literacy and Numeracy experience in adult education.

You need to be able to demonstrate effective communication skills, strong personal organisational and time management skills, and be highly motivated, positive and able to engage with learners from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels. We are keen to talk to you if you have a consistent and enthusiastic approach to delivering and assessing training.

Team Leader to lead our Learner Engagement Program Team

The Learner Engagement Team Leader will lead and support the Learner Engagement Team in achieving funded program outcomes and The Centre’s objectives in relation to engaging and supporting learners to achieve success. The team’s purpose is to support and facilitate the engagement and learning journey of people who have significant barriers to engaging in formal education, skills training and employment.

The Centre has a range of programs designed to support learners at various stages of their journey.  The Learner Engagement team includes trained case workers and teachers/trainers.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Relationship management with partners and referral agencies
  • Leadership and Program Coordination

Project Coordinator – Family Learning Partnership

We are seeking an enthusiastic person who has experience in growing collaborative partnerships with a range of organisations, developing programs and has a passion for education.

The aim of the Family Learning Partnership is to engage parents experiencing disadvantage and to support their participation in learning to start them on a pathway towards further education and employment.

Working within our Education and Training Department, the Project Coordinator will work closely with Schools, early education providers and support networks within Wangaratta and Benalla including Maternal Child and Health Centres and early childhood centres to consult and review our current programs, re-establish current needs and develop and coordinate programs moving forward.

You need to be able to demonstrate effective communication skills, strong personal organisational and time management skills, and be highly motivated, positive and able to engage with people from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels.

This is fixed contract position ending in June 2019 located in Wangaratta North East Victoria.
